Priti Jadiya, PT, MPT (Neuro), CCVR, MCPA

Certificate of Competency in Vestibular Rehabilitation, 2020, Facial Neuromuscular Retraining (FNMR) therapist, 2024

Priti is the founder of The Dizziness & Balance Clinic, offering virtual vestibular therapy to residents in British Columbia, Alberta, and India. This virtual service helps those in remote areas where healthcare is hard to reach. She also oversees Glenridding Physiotherapy Clinic in Edmonton, focusing on dizziness and concussion patients.

With over 14 years of physiotherapy experience, Priti earned her Master's in Physiotherapy specializing in Neurosciences from AIIPMR, India, in 2012. She became interested in dizziness and vertigo in 2017 and has since taken numerous vestibular rehabilitation courses, including advanced certifications from Austin, Texas, and Duke University. Additionally, she studied causes of dizziness related to cervical spine issues and concussions. As a facial neuromuscular retraining therapist, she aids patients with facial palsy. Recently trained in TMJ disorders and orofacial pain management, she now treats dizziness and headaches caused by TMD.

Priti collaborates with audiologists, psychologists, physicians, speech-language pathologists, and other vestibular physiotherapists to deliver comprehensive care.

Lauren Wootton,  BHSc, MScPT

Lauren Wootton completed her MScPT at Ontario's McMaster University in 2012. She has since completed the Introductory and Advanced Vestibular Rehabilitation Therapy Course with Bernard Tonks, PT, in Toronto., and most recently participated in the 2020 Vestibular Health Summit.

Unlike physiotherapists who treat a multitude of conditions, Lauren focuses solely on vestibular conditions, allowing her to focus her learning, treatment strategies and skills in one area.

Lauren is the founder of The Vertigo Therapist and has developed an effective method of assessment and treatment of vestibular conditions using virtual appointments and various technology.

With this, she is able to reach people in remote and rural areas of Ontario who are searching for relief from their vestibular conditions without access to specialized clinics.

Lauren has found that the most effective way to help someone with vertigo is to tailor treatment not only to the specific condition but to the individual person in order to meet their goals (big and small) at a pace that is right for them.

What clients have to say!
